Face of the day

So here I am waiting for my turn to shoot my part of the video. I am here at Spryta studios shooting the second single "D2 na lang" of my album Drizzle : Personal. Since I have nothing better to do I decided to do a face of the day. For those of you who are not familiar with a "Face of the day"... it's when people talk about, and most of the time, list down the products that they used on their face. If you want me to do a tutorial on how I actually did my face... Y'all let me know, and I will hook you up... Also please note, that I used a lot of products on my face, because this is a video shoot, and the lighting is very strong, so i have to put layer upon layer of makeup for it to actually register on the screen. Anyhow without further ado, here is my Face of the day:

Face:
Celeteque moisturizer
MAC matte creme mattifiante
MAC studio finish concealer in NC35
Makeup Forever HD foundation in #127
Maybelline Mineral concealer in Medium
MAC studio fix powder
NARS Bronzer in Laguna
ELF Bronzing and Blush Duo
Makeup Forever HD Powder
MAC Mineralize Blush in Nuance
MAC blush in Mocha
Maybelline powder in Honey
Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray

Eyes:
Maybelline define-a-brow pencil in Medium
MAC eyeshadow in Espresso
MAC brow set in Beguile

Off to work...

Sooooo, i was looking through my photo booth photos on my laptop and i stumbled upon this picture. I took this after i did my makeup as i was getting ready for my gig at Pattaya, Thailand. And it made me reminisce of the time I had there. We only stayed there for a couple of weeks, did 3 shows, and ate delicious food the rest of the time. I chronicle my life and work through pictures like these. Because makeup is my passion, i take pictures when i like the makeup that i did that day, it sort of helps me remember the colors that i used, and look back for when i get stuck trying to figure what kind of "face" to wear that day. But as I take these photos, it also helps me think of the times and experiences that i had that particular day... Is that weird? I mean i take regular photos or memories, but i also like taking these because it's more personal for me, it's kinda like my "special thing"... and it makes me smile. So I just want to share it with everybody and please feel free to do the same if you want to...

Till next time everybody!

Hello everybody!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and i hope to keep this updated with my everyday life and beauty blogs as well...

This was a photo taken during my recent gig at the Alabang Country Club. It was for the Alabang Ladies International Association Charity Ball (whew! that was a mouthful to say!) The theme was Bollywood so I came up with this makeup look. And i thought it turned out pretty well don't you think? :D Anyhow we had so much fun that night! So thanks to Dina Hourihan for hiring us!

Keep you guys updated! In the meantime I leave you with one of my all-time favorite pictures... This was taken while I was performing at Hardrock Cafe Makati, Philippines, a couple of months back...

Toodles!
